The XRaySim toolkit

Well, well... time seems to be flying. We're at the dawn of a new era, I say. The old alliances will be reformed.(If you don't quite get it, wait for a couple of days)

Anyway, here's a much waited announcement on XRaySim. The XRaySim program is now part of a larger package called the XRaySim toolkit! This includes 3 components - XRaySim, XRS-VRend (the hardware-accelerated volume renderer) and XRS-ImaPoP (the post processing, image analysis tool)!

That means the whole thingy has finally gotten some direction. I have resumed work on the toolkit, so hopefully, the coming days will see a lot more updates!

EDIT: Just came across this while randomly googling. Palamida lists projects that are released under the GNU GPL license V3. And guess what - XRaysim is listed!! hurray! The pre_alpha status is there too! Yay! You can actually see it here: http://gpl3.palamida.com:8080/searchResultsShowMe.jsp

Hopefully thats a sign of things to come ;)
